Synth meeting-notes app
A bot-less meeting-notes product with first-class transcription, audio, and notes, built before ChatGPT existed.
Problem
Meeting notes in 2022 usually required a bot to join the call. Synth set out to make a bot-less meeting-notes app before ChatGPT existed.
What I built
As a founding engineer and Fullstack Engineer, I built the Google Meet Chrome extension and its real-time, bot-less audio recording. I also worked on Ask-Synth, automated build and deployment pipelines, Playwright coverage, and Electron performance.
Outcome
The extension earned a 4.8 out of 5 Chrome Store rating. Playwright coverage reduced production defects by about 20%, and the Electron work improved overall performance by about 50%. The product never came out of stealth, but its transcription, audio, and notes quality is work I am still proud of.
